Well, I've got one with a chord of about 7 inches (not counting slats, flaps, or ailerons). The CG is about an inch and a half back from the LE (ignoring slats). It may be a little nose-heavy but it flies OK.

My wing chord is 116mm, cg suggested at 26mm from the leading edge in my rob caso plans from turnkey rc.

So the cg is suggested at .22 of the total wing chord.

Although I haven't completed the build so I don't know for sure if it flys well in this configuration.

Guys - a normal balancing point on a clark y airfoil is about 33% MAC. On the Storch which has a clark y, the LE slats shift the COL of the wing forward so the balance point must also be moved fwd. 33% of the MAC including the slats is OK which winds up to be about 22% of the MAC w/o the slats. Err of course on the nose heavy side.
