Does anyone know what is going on with Nelson R/C Products. I placed an order from him about 5 weeks ago with no response and I also noticed that his web site has been closed? I sure hope that Jerry has not decided to call it quits, no one else comes close to his products, craftmanship, and and helpful advice.

Hello,
I work for Nelson when I'm home from college. I had spring break last week so I was in there working. He is incredibly backed up with orders, what with taking over the old Rocket Citys product line. He's been waiting for other stuff to come in from Europe, some of it arrived on Saturday.
Nelson Hobby is a really small company. There are 3 people (4 when I go back) and 1 of them is part time. They work their @$$'s off to get those products out the door in a timely manner. In the past Nelson has been criticized for slow service. In the last year or so, we've turned it around, but there are times when the backlog is too much for us, so sometimes orders get delayed.
Jerry has switched to new phone hours, basically before 12:00 noon (PST) he answers the phone, because the afternoon is spent getting orders invoiced and out the door.
If you need to call there, call the toll free # 1-877-263-5766
