Looking to articulate an axel pilot 1/3 scale any body done one of these, can noit afford to make a mistake they are so expensive
any input would be appreciateed

Hello.

You wont be disappointed they looks like a real pilot and they are very well made. The guy who makes them is very helpfull if you want help to decide how the pilot should looks. I think he runs a little family company so there is a delivery time but he tells you that before you order it.
I have this one in scale 1/2 for my Pitts and I am very happy with him he gives life to the model.

I remember an article in Fly RC about a person doing something like this. I am pretty sure it was in the issue that had the "Blue Flash".

They removed the head and inserted a shaft in the head. This was connected through some linkage to the rudder servo. Move the rudder and the pilot's head turned in the same direction.

Where does one get an Axeel pilot in the US? I have a link to a web site but all I find is photos of very nice pilots, no contact information?
