I am looking to build a P-51 .40 size aircraft, good scale kit or scratch. Anybody have thoughts on plans or kits?

If you want a nice kit with nice scale lines, the House of Balsa P51 is a nice candidate. If you can find one, they come in both all wood kits and also a fiberglass fuse kit. You have to remember that this is not the 20 size version. I have one that I would consider selling.

I would be interested. Do you have any details on the kit or know where I might find some?

Don't overlook the Great Planes .40 P-51 kit, it is a great flyer and easy to build.

I am actually looking for a little more scale than the two kits mentioned. I could always start with the Great Planes kit and bash it I guess but I really wanted to "scale it up" if you know what I mean
