A flying buddy and me built a Balsa USA Fokker Eindecker III. I powered mine with a O.S. .91 4-stroke and he powered his with a Magnum .91 4-stroke. He opted out with flying wires while I put them on mine. We hope to fly them together at some Warbird & Giant scale fly-ins this year. He has 5 flight on his and I have 4 on mine.

They one with the flying wires certainly is better looking. There weren't many planes of that vintage without them. I guess I just like scale planes. The more scale the better.
