I heard rumblings that there is a USSM qualifier to be held in Long Island (?) in August this year....doesn't anyone know if this is true?? I couldn't see it listed with the other qualifiers on the USSM.org page.

OK, got the information now...looks like i won't be able to attend...next year hopefully! I wish they announced this with all the others instead of 2 weeks before the event.

Sean, From talking to some of the Guys at WOD the Scale Masters Qualifier was added at the last minute. I spoke with Roy in April about having one and he said it was a "no go".. Seems as though something changed and now its on.. I won't be ready in time for it myself so its not a biggie. You would/should have scored well with the spit for sure. Did you get it flying? Sorry to ask if you already have explained the maiden flight etc..but I have been away for a week and without a computer. (. BobH.

Sean Bob you guys gonna goto the scale masters anyways? Wifey said we need a vacation so we are going. got the next to the last room avail at the holiday inn on the masters block hehehe. the red roof inn and there was another one was booked solid. looks like it is gonna be fun for me since the mall is only a mile from the hotel and the hotel is only 2 miles from the museum thus wifey can leave if she gets bored and wont get lost getting back to the room or to the mall :0)

Hey Prof. yes I planned on attending this years Scale Masters. I usually stay at the Red Roof.. its not far from the base. I might even try staying on the base this year? I have done that before.. being a Fed. I was allowed to.. not sure now .. after 9-11?.. Your wife will no doubt find enough places to shop!! lol!!.. BobH.

Bob red roof is booked I called this last week to make a res. nice thing is it is just down the street from the Hol Inn and both close to base. when it gets closer we will have to swap cell numbers and get hooked up. We are planning on being there the 25th -28th hehe wife even says supper will be cheap since she saw the hol inn has a 20 ft hors d ouvre bar for 2 bucks from 4-7 lol she said we can pig out on hot wings for supper

Prof, Yep when it gets close we'll exchange numbers for sure. I gotta find a place to stay now!!! I usually stay at the Red Roof Inn. Its right at the end of the exit ramp and not too far from the base. I might be going there for the Holiday fly in so I'll do a little whinning while I'm there and maybe something will work out? lol! Well the holiday inn is only 10 bucks more if they still have room avail in the block
