fuse, wings, cowl, flaps all riveted.
Working detailing ailerons now, and patching some primer spots
on the fabric covered elevators and rudder. Then will add pinking tape
to those as well.
Also started getting ready to mold a canopy frame as well. Fuse almost
ready to shoot silver now.

Attached are canopy frame pics. First set canopy on fuse, lay down 6 oz
glass cloth, wet it out. Then some carbon fiber veil, and wet it down. On
top of all that is a layer of 4 oz cloth. After that sets up tonight I will lay
down a couple layers of 2 oz cloth, then a final layer of 3/4 oz cloth. The idea
is to make it stiff, but with the last layers of cloth to be not as course of a
weave to be able to fill in better with sanding

TB: now that the past 3 days of fiberglassing is over, I popped the canopy
off, waiting for it to final cure then trim and fit. I then have to mount the
forward windscreen part to the fuse and blend in.
Then make a G10 base for the aft section to work with the sliding
canopy rails, and then make it all work LoL
Plus a bit of sanding, fitting, filling and priming along the way

Burley And I agreed to do the bottom wing in the scale of base aluminum showing through with RLM 76 over. I think this is accurate and catches the desperate times of the last two months of the war.
