I know what you mean Thomas, however there are quite a few late pics of Green 4 going thru
her phases of crazy paint stuff, would be crazy cool though

Hope Todd does not mind me sharing this story. If you notice he is using a small tire to counter balance the paint stand. Well turns out he found a real full scale D9 tail wheel on eBay a few years back. Some clown didn't know what it was and was using it as a wheelbarrow wheel. True story. Why can't I ever find gems like this.

Then you must get some really good photo's and dimensions of that thing... it's time for me to start drawing the CAD model for the tail wheel for my 152, and i'm don't want resin cast parts..

A good dead on face shot with a tape measure will suffice. Then if you could get a head on shot of the tire profile and a width of the rim, that'll be perfect!

Looking great!

I have a question. Do you guys know if the position light in the rudder on FW 190 aircraft was a strobe, or just a constant light? I can do either, but was just wondering which is more scale.

Constant. I doubt you'll find any sort of strobe or beacon on anything WW2. The purpose of those lights are for getting your attention and making yourself visible or noticed, not exactly what you would want in war time

That is what I figured. No biggie to just unplug the strobe unit. I am just a few days away from maiden on mine.
