Ok here's some info on my first scale progect.
The hull is 44" long 13" wide. I have the moulds for this boat. This boat was marketed in the rcboat modeler mag. Under the name of southwind boats. I made this hull about a year ago, and it just sat in storage. The original builder of these boat just passed on in July. About a month ago I started looking at this boat and it go those gears turning betwen my ears.
I put the boat together with things that I had on hand, the motor is a fiago 13xl brushless with a supervee esc running off a 12 volt 7ah battery, turnning a octura 642 prop.
I have made a swim step, outriggers, pole holders, and for fun alittle handpole for some rc fishing.
Now I'm at the point that I hate the body and paint part.

I wanted to go duel props, but being limited on funds I am using what ever I had laying around. The motor, esc and prop combo seems to work pretty good, way over scale speed.

Hi Knahinu,
That looks like it could be a really nice sportfish...... Being that you have the moulds you can pop out a bunch more & sell them. Use your boat as a prototype to inspire others.
