Ark Models posts here from time to time promotng their products. That is fine, but there is something everyone should know - it is not opinion, it is fact.

Ark has taken a picture of a cruiser built by Duane Curtis from a Scale Shipyard semi-kit and are passing it off as their own work. They even put their name over the photo - taken from my website - probably to prevent copying.

That kind of stuff exists more than you know. I found a guy selling CD's of R/C boats on Fleebay and one of the featured models was mine, with a picture taken by my wife. I got medieval on him (probably one of the only times I have ever done that to anyone) and threatened to sue him for copyright infringement. Lo and behold, my pictures dissapeared off his cd's. I felt insulted he was trying to make a buck off my models and pictures taken by my wife.

Anyway, just a little story about what happened to me.
