Hi, It would be interesting to see how You made these. Are the Torpedoes powered? Here are some pics of My late Dads Air Powered Torpedo that He made for one of His Larger RC Airplanes. I couldn't find the Snap on Fins or the Prop. His Basement is still full of Boxes of Balsa and RC plane stuff. The Floor Picture is to show the scale of about 2.5 Feet. There's a Fill Valve and an on and off Valve. Tim

Some of my recent work on my Boote.

I am currently collecting parts for a Microglass Schnellboot hull (43"L) do you think these will work also? Current plan is to run 3X 400 motors but may try to find suitable/comparable outrunner brushless.

That would make it about 1/32 scale. So long as you aren't worried about scale I would have thought they would be fine.
They are 1/32 scale of the original full size.

Ya'll have some talent here !!
Not too worried about 100% scale as I'm mainly building a semi-scale runner,, well,,, thats the plan for now until I get to it . Its curently about 3-4 projects down the line but that may change depending on moods,,,you know how it goes. Been collecting 1/35 scale gun's/figures (primarily Tamiya), are they going to be historically correct,,,Naw!? ! Most people in my immediate area are not into scale boats or boats at all and never heard of a S-Boote so only "I" the builder will know. Thank you for posting the link to the props and I may pm you('s) to pick your brain from time to time.

Finalising crew positions prior to sealing with final coat of matt varnish, the moving onto the hull, all 3ft of it!

Made a start on the weathering of the Hull,.
Using photo's of well worn examples, I have tried to depict the hard conditions many of these vessels worked under.
Out night after night, no time to clean up between missions & replenishing.



All work carried out using brush, sponges, cotton buds, weathering pastels & acrylic paints.

Electricals now being tackled, mixer and ESC's modules supplied by 'Action Electronics'
Temporary placings as bathtub balance test yet to be done, and receiver and cooling fans yet to be fitted.
Motors not yet wired up in case any manouvering that may be needed.

Looks fantastic, can't wait to se the finished boat.

Waterproof seals fitted (windscreen wiper rubbers) Screwing the deck down compresses the blade vanes creating a seal.
Should water get past the first vane, there are two more to get by.



Almost there, maiden voyage imminent!

Great looking S Boat. Is the whole deck removable?? If so that would be great for getting at the RC stuff.

The main deck can be removed for major work to be done, but is screwed down most of the time
Individual hatches are removable for pond side access, such as replacing batteries or adjusting servos etc.

Oh wow, are those the G-Factor props made specifically for the kit? If so, I'd heard that Ernie Gee (owner) has been made aware that his props are being used for more and more R/C plastic model conversions and may be facilitating this fad (old as it is) by having his props threaded and with proper bores...

I bored mine out and threaded them myself!
