Default Tugs

I have been looking to build a tug this winter and found a company (Hartman Fiberglass) that makes a fine looking vintage tug. Have any of you had experience with them? They don't even post prices on their site. You have to buy the catalog to find out. Seems like they have some great products just not very internet savvy. Check them out and post your opinions.

Thanks,
Terry

I guess for $7.00 I can afford the catalog. I'll post prices if anyone is interested. How difficult is the kit, Jim? How long to assemble and does it or did it come with a hardware kit?

Just got the catalog and the Douglas Greg Tug kit is $350.00. Mr Hartman now offers a beautiful scale Monterey Fishing boat which was scaled from the Fisherman's Wharf Fleet in SF It's over 4 ft long! I am currently building a 27 inch version of this boat but wish I had the big one.

Default Merry Christmas to me!!!

Well, I ordered the tug kit today. It will take around 3 weeks to construct the parts as Mr Hartman does them "one at a time" The wait will be tough. For those of you who are into big scale boats or sailboats check out his site at http://www.hartmanrcmodelboats.com He has some really nice products.

Happy Holidays,

Terry
