Hello,
I am sorry to hear of your misfortunes. It is a shame that someone would take advantage of another. With that being said I have a couple of suggestions. Take them for what they are worth.
Ebay. Sometimes you can find very nice boats for sale either on Ebay or RCU. Just look in the classisfieds.
Talk to your local hobby shop. Sometimes they have someone either there or know of master modelers that can be up for the challenge.
Fine Scale Modeler magazines or R/C Boats magazines sometimes have classifieds for people that do that sort of stuff. Of course then you run into the possibility of someone being a scam artist but a reputable person could give you references. In short, do your homework before you commit to spending the huge outlay that that can be.
I know he only builds subs but you may try e-mailing Frank Ryan @ subconcepts.com. He may know of someone that does the sort of work you are looking to have done. They are out in Roswell NM. Another person to try would be Cindy at Al's Hobby Shop in Elmhurst Illinois. They are one of the largest hobby stores in the US and they do everything you could imagine. It would be my guess that someone that either works there or patronizes the store would be willing. You can find their phone number by looking for Al's Hobby Store on the internet. I know they have a website somewhere but cannot recall it off the top of my head.
Anyway, that should get you off and running.
Best of luck to you!
Pete

Well if all you want to do is get back on the water, Tower Hobbies is selling the
Hobbico Atlantic Harbor Tug Boat RTR

You don't get the bragging rights of having built it, but you can get back on the pond. [8D]

HELLO, I APOLOGIZE FOR NOT RESPONDING SOONER. IF YOU MAY HAVE THE TIME IN THE FUTURE TO BUILD THE TUG I WOULD BE INTERESTED. I AM IN NO HURRY THATS FOR SURE. BUT IF YOU KNOW OF A BETTER TUG MODEL I WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR SUGGESTIONS AS I AM NEW TO THIS. BUT THE Z-DRIVES & BOW THRUSTER ARE VERY APPEALING. AGAIN THANK YOU FOR YOUR RESPONSE.
