I am looking to build a 1/4 scale mahogany run about I would love to build the 62 RIVA AQUARAMA but I am unable to obtain any plans of this boat my ability to build from pictures is none. Does any one have a source for purchase of full size plans or scale plans. I have thought of purchasing a Dumas model Chris Craft and if the kit does not contain plans at least use the formers trace and enlarge to 1/4 scale, any one done this that can help. I have built and much modified an S&R 1942 "Century" kit to musium standards with a custom scratch built trailer, if you want to see pictures would gladly send them via e-mail

I have aquired 1/12th scale original plans of a
1970/1 Riva Aquarama. Plans show Frames engine mounts transom cockpit and all frame stations. Deck curvature laminated keel.
I'll ship USPS paid $110-00
Also have 1/10th scale plans of 1970 Riva Super Ariston with same details as the Aquarama
Ship USPS $110-00
e-mail [email protected] to order
Note I am building a 1/4 scale Super Ariston from these plans.

I purchased the Armata kit from Model Expo whilst on sale $399-00 1/10 scale Hull was a solid resin the ply all laser cut fittings some of which qwere real good some mediocre Unless you are a builder of at least a couple of models you may have problem instructions are all in Italian ! I chose not to build and returned kit. I thought that even if converted to R/C would react like a tug, but pat Trittle in form that in fact with electric power it produces a good scale speed.

I like the free plan set this group of enthusiasts offer. A little cheaper than the $15 dollar set available from Traplet publishing.

Hi David,
I ran across your request last week and finally got on here. I am currently building a 1/9 Scale (36.5" long) Riva Aquarams Special Revived Stearling Plans. I bought the plans on E-bay from great_plans in Canada. I just looked today and it is on there again. Its about $20.00 including shipping. For an extra cost he will blow them to the scale you want. Here is the E-Bay I.D. # 200291519365.
The plans are well done and the parts so far are fitting pretty well.
Hope this works for you.
