Default 1960's Cutty Sark needs help cleaning

Hi. I am looking for someone with information on how to clean or possibly restore a 1960's wood Cutty Sark, probably about 2 feet in length. It was my father's pride and joy. He now lives in assisted living and I would like to get it cleaned up and restored for him. Any ideas? Please let me know. Thank you.

I would see if you could contact a local ship modeling club.

There are many very talented people that do not build RC ships, and have experience building and sometimes restoring ship models for themselves and for museums.
