Default Cray Boat...not sure what scale

Hi hows it going....
Not sure if this is the right place to post this.
I'm looking into building a cray boat but i'm not sure what scale i should build it so
i was hoping you guys would recommend a good scale.
I was thinking maby about 70-80cm long (sorry not sure what that is in inches)
But i'm not sure how wide it should be but i'm guessing you guys might know?
Thank you so much for your help

oh yeah.....and if any of you guys have built a cray boat it would be great if you had
some pics of how you built it.

Hi
70-80 cm (28-32 inches) would be a good size, easy to transport.
As to the beam (width) looking at the picture I'd say about 1/4 the lenght.
BTW how did you make out with your NW 36-600?

Hi Bob

Ive decided to make it 32 inches and the width 8 inches.
i haven't worked out the width of the sides of the boat, so i was going to ask
one off you guys, but if not I'm riding my push bike to the boat docks tomorrow.
so i hope ill get some ideas there And maby if some of the guys are nice there
they might let my have a look on there boat. And if I'm really lucky they might ask me
to work for them for a day.

about my north wind, shes coming along really nicely.
I haven't relay spent to much money on her.
i took it to a IOM club and the guys there set my yacht up.
And they let me sail around with them for the day,
I was really amazed how well she preformed against the IOM class
