Hey Bill,

I just compared it with a couple other pics..you are right I overshot the location..It's an easy fix, thanks!

This is a good reminder that I need to print out all my pics for reference.

Do you know what era that was taken? There are those wood blocks by the mast that we had seen before.

Cool! post pics of them..I have been wondering if she could make them for D.

This weekend the LIPO batteries should be relocated in the engine room.

That pic was taken in the late 1970's. Still have no idea why those wood blocks were there..

Hey Frank..Just start out by getting the hull & superstructure made up...Then get it running and finally do the detailing afterwards...

I posted an update on RCG..

Deep welcome back, what battery setup are you planning on going with? Since we have the same ESCs I'm really interested in seeing how your trials go .

In more modern times life rafts would be orange for visability but we seem to have concluded on Dauntless it should be gray.

Those are the batteries I am running (2 per in parallel) and i am happy with them.

Sky, just to be clear I am running 4 batteries with 2 per motor. The second 2 are to increase the run time.

Rich I intend to remain on this thread.

Sky, I can't give a run time since i don't seem to go out and run continuously. When I run with our club we usually run for about 3-4 hours and I will spend some time slow speed manuevering and some at speed and then sometimes just drift while we are bs'ing about our boats. Doing that they last me through the entire session.

Rich I haven't had trouble here whenever I tried. Just was letting you know I am avoiding the other by choice after the stir. Also over there the thread will drop out off sight if it only gets the posting rate same as here.

Hi Bill,

You have good luck then...This site has been in and out...Just after I posted my last post I was locked out again due to server errors..

I know that you don't like the other Dauntless forum because of the punk that started with you but he is now terrorizing somewhere else. I love the way the new thread was laid out but am surprised by the lack of participation in it. The thread gets a lot of hits but no one posts anything..
