Default looking for winter project??

i am looking for a winter project any ideas i would like to build a kit. i built the american beauty and it was not a bad porject it went smooth after i replaced all the wood so i was looking for something besides a dumas project. i will build off a set of plans if their are avibale any input would be great and i will post the total build thanks

Have you tried the USS Missouri model. You can find the plans for it on ebay. its about 55 1/2 inches long and a beam of 6 inches.

If you into building from scratch, maybe order a set of plans from Taubman at Loyalhanna Dockyard. They have a varitey of plans to choose from, maybe a Coast Guard Buoy Tender, a sloop, or a warship. Regardless, remember to have fun and make sure the water is hard before going ice fishing!! [sm=drowning.gif] Oh, it's gotta be soft for the boats too!!
