RE: Hello has anyone built the vac u tug
Welcome to the forum trainlover. I haven't actually built a vac-u-tug but know several that have and they love them. They are a quick and simple build to get you on the water fast. The amount of detail is up to you, simple or elaborate. Go here http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=55 and under search this forum, type in vac-u-tug. There are several threads on the vac-u-tug.

Zachary,
I've built one or two. Easy, simple, does exactly what it's supposed to do. How good are they? Guess that just depends on what you mean by 'good'. They're certainly fun. Sort of doubt if you'll win any 'Best of Show' kind'a thingys, but guess that sort of depends on the 'show'...

The hull does'nt look to have much flat area to mount them. You'd probably have to come up with some kind of angled spacer to flatten out the hull as it's quite "roley-poley". It's a good challenge though. Especially if your looking for a cheap hull.
