So you are looking for a 1/48 scale model of a 50 foot tug?

12-1/2 inches long...?

Hmmmm....

Okay, somone posted these 1964 plans a while back.
Build to the scale you want, full hull, or just water line.

Thanks guys for all your help ... I'm in need of a kit, not that talented to do a scratchbuilt. I'm restricted to space so
a 1/48 scale of 50" is what I'm in need of...thanks again. Rich

RichBaron, Lionel sells or used to sell Tug boats. You should be able to still find them for sale at Lionel dealers or on Ebay.

I considered recommending the Lindberg tug, but the doors just seem too small for a 1-1/2" tall (6 foot) man.

Umi,
How are we going to put a 1-1/2" tall door on a 13" tug?

Maybe Rich needs to tell us how long the tug should be.
My Billings Banckert is 1/48 scale and is about 23 " long.
