Hello All:
I am an aircraft guy but a builder of models. The Indiana Military Museum that I work for part time has asked me to up-grade the USS Missouri that they have on display. It was built by some one as a runner and has a lot to be desired and never will be "museum quality", however I'm trying to make it more presentable. It's aprox. 48" long and I need quite a bit of the detail stuff like the aircraft, catapults, anchors, props and numerous other small items. Does any one know of a place where I might get this stuff?
Thanks

You might contact Floating Drydock.
See if they have what you need in the proper scale.

Sounds like a 1:192 scale Sterling kit model. Two places you might try are the Floating Drydock ( email at drydock@floating drydock.com) and the Scale Shipyard (www.scaleshipyard.com). The Scale Shipyard has some resin pieces--directors, turrets, 5"mounts, decals, and photo etched sets for that modeletc, and access to some other parts. Floating Drydock has white metal parts in that scale from H-R Products, and other stuff. Good people to deal with in both cases.
