Default Tug boats navigation lights

When it comes the time to tow, as far as I know there are rules concerning up to three (white?) mast lights pointing dead ahead aranged in vertical display, and I guess one or two (yellow?) lights pointing astern. An it depends on the total towing length, if it exceeds 200 meters or something like that.

I'd appreciate any useful and complete info about this.

Regards
Robert
