Tug are starting to sound like a cool build!
Can someone please tell me or show me where to go to explain the ends and out of a tug boat? Where do you find most of your parts? Do all recovery boats need that large of a battery and why do they weigh that much besides the battery? I have an idea but i would like someone knows the topic to explain it for me. What is a good tug for recovering a 27 to 40 inch boat.
Thanks

Team A-Hull,
First, I like tugs so tend to think they are 'better' than most other kinds of boats, more fun, require better operating skills (yeah, I know, but what can I say, I like'em).
A smaller boat will push/pull a much larger boat, it just takes more time (unless the size/power difference is too great for conditions).
A rescue boat has to be fairly 'stable', shouldn't be over powered (too much). That stability contributes to manageability of the whole thing.
Maneuverability is also nice. Don't have to make 40 foot circles to get into position for the tow, sort of thing. Having 'reverse' is nice too.
After that, it sort of depends on what you happen to have and how well you can run the thing, and what you like/want or care about what things look like, sort of. Lots of choices...
