Default Painting white metal?

Can you paint the white metal in Dumas kits? Or is there a way to improve their looks. The dash board is terrible looking.

Default RE: Painting white metal?

Borabora22,

The White metal on the Dumas kit can be buffed out. I used a circular wire metal brush fitting that goes onto a dremel to do it. (don't know the name.) It gives somewhat of a chrome look when done. I'm sure that you could probably do it with a fine sandpaper. I did not try to paint it, but pretty sure it will not be a problem.
