Default How Do I Build up an area of Sub-planking? help!

I am working on my first RC boat. A Dumas Typhoon. I just finished the balsa Sub-planking and have started sanding in preparation for the mahogany planks. There is one area that needs to be built up to make my hull contour correct. This is due to my building error.

Question: What Can I use to build up the area and still allow solid gluing and finishing of the mahogany planks over the area?

Build out with more balsa until it is proud, sand back to fair.
