Default Mid 20th century Coast Guard Cutter

My dad is looking for a good set of plans to build a good looking coast guard cutter from mid 20th century. He finally had to abandon the poorly drawn plans for the Point Ledge he got from the fall issue of RCl Boat Modeler magazine; I saw it, the bulkheads did not match up to the side view drawing and it ended up looking baddddd.

Does anyone know of a good source for quality plans of about a 4' model that they have built and were impressed with?

Thanks,
Jesse and Lou

Floating Drydock lists a general plan set under their G series...
Auxillary
GQ-WPB82301 - USCG POINT CLASS

However, I don't see any hull, frame plans. for that particular class

If you run across CG Bob, he could probably locate more info for you.
He used to serve in the Coast Guard, and has built several gorgeous models of
the fleet.

Hey Umi maybe you can answer my question. What's FAIRED LINES and STATIONS mean?
And how would they help in building a model?

Those are the frame plans. The lines represent the width of the hull from the keel to the weather deck at a fixed point along the center line.

The frames below were copied and cut from the "faired lines or station" plan that came with the plans for the ASR, USS Florikan
