Default f-14 Navy Radio Channel Expanders

HI,

Is it possible to use the f-14 navy radio channel expanders on any radio? I have a Futaba 6ex FASST radio and am prepared to void the warranty if required. I am wondering if anyone has done this or if it is even possible. I have already opened the radio and the gear channel switch has 3 wires going to it.

Hopefully you can help,

The analog F-14 parts may not speak wellif at all to the newer digital equipment.
However, you might contact Model Solutions, and see if their 16 channel multiplexer
switching solutions will work on one of your proportional channels.
