I really want a couple of these boats for some projects. Especially the fishing boat.

George is a friendly and helpful guy. I am currently doing one of his boats. It was ordered at last years EPIC show in August, where he had sold out - I got mine a couple of weeks later when production was catching up with demand.
George demonstrates his wares at the shows he goes to and rest assured, the fast ones GO.
The resin figures are something else - sculptures in their own right.
If he recommends a motor set-up, thats what he used and it will work as stated so its a good idea to go the same way.

Not worried about speed at all.

Speed might not be an issue, but the ASRL was a fast boat. Follow Georges recommendations and it will not only look good, it will perform properly. The motor system it was designed around is as low-priced as any in the price range, so is well worth ordering at the same time.
