My Aquacraft Models Atlantic Harbor Tugboat just arrived from Towers Hobbies. While forward throttle appears fine, I am not able to obtain reverse throttle using provided Aquacraft Transmiiter. If there a fix for this lack of reverse throttle?

Also, I would like to convert the Aquacraft Transmitter from AA batteries to a NiCd battery. Does anyone offer a TX conversion kit for this battery switch?

I received a quick reply back from Hobbico, who suggested possibly a faulty ESC, as noted on other subject posts here. Thus, I requested a ESC replacement, as offered.

Hobbico also replied that there is no conversion kits to switch my the Aquacraft Transmitter from AA batteries to a NiCd battery.

However, this transmitter has a built-in charging jack, like the Tower Hobbies 2TXP System 3000 2-Channel AM Pistol Grip Radio. For NiCd battery upgrade of this TH radio, use #1 Below. I found two offerings for TX conversion kit for this battery switch at TH:

1. DuraTrax Tx NiCd Conversion Kit Futaba/KO/Tower
2. Hobbico NiCd Battery Conv Kit Fut/KO/Tower

Looks like I just need to make a choice of one of these...
