That much for underwater LEDs? Good grief, I'm in the wrong 'bid-nez'! Except for the wires coming out of the back of the LED, they're water proof to start with. Water proof the wiring and make a housing, you're done.
For an R/C boat, drill the right sized hole, insert LED so that the end sticks out of the hull, glue seal the hole, you're done.
They really get that much for an underwater light?

Cool! But would those violate navigation light rules set by the USCG? Or maybe there's nothing written about any lighting restrictions below the waterline?

yeah i was thinking that too but i guess as long as you have all your standard lights you can add what you want.

They are absolutely beautiful under the 1:1 transoms on boats. They are real sexy at night.
Cool upgrade for a RC but I would buy the 120 degree LED's to get the most bright ones you can.
I use these for my gauge cluster in my car and they are the brightest I have found. Regular LED's might not be very bright under water.
Go here, they are the 3rd one down from the top

You can get them in all sorts of colors. I have Blue on my dash(one of the hardest colors to get to be bright enough to see your gauges at night) They work great. Fast shipping too. I think I willdo this mod once I get my Boat up and running just for fun.
