i have a set of 1/96 scale plans for the uss enterprise carrier ww II version i want to build but im trying to get some info and maybe some advice where to get some accessories or someone in the ohio area that would like to do a group build anything would be nice i plan to start building soon and get it underway full RC

Andrew Jarbak built one... Portland, Oregon...
Scratch built down to the x000 aircraft tie downs...

I believe the planes are kits...[)]

You could probably investigate Scale Shipyard, or Floating Drydock for 1/96 scale parts.

Umi, he was referring to the Yorktown class Enterprise, CV6 and not the Nuclear powered CVN65

Two and a half years later someone noticed the discrepancy in the carriers...

Scale shipyard would still be a good place to get fittings for 1/96 scale warships...

Lol I did notice the cvn instead of a Cv lol.. thread never took off.. but I got the plans from the floating dry dock real nice plans..

Unfortunately I have not even started on it I'm working on a sbd dauntless and have a b-17 lined up after that I would like to start but I have never built a ship from scratch.
