Hello,
I need some advice in my choice of replacement speed controller after my current one has finally started to play up.
The one I am currently looking at is a Robbe navy control 535 R. has any one had any experience with this type an or make. Good or bad?
Its going to be used in a scale boat so need good slow speed and good top speed (for when you feel the need
). Not exactly sure what the motor is but it’s what comes with a Robbe Navy Kompakt: No. 4105. Power source is two 6Volt 12Ah Jell cells in parallel.
I’m open to recommendations as well.
Thanks
Mark

Mark,
I have several nearly new controllers that I could sell you. I used them once each for a evaluation I did for my Happy Hunter project that I am working on. I have a Robbe 535 and a mtroniks Viper 40 that I am not going to use.

The 535 was one of the few ESC's that I tried that allowed the motors in my set up to turn very slowly. The torque level in both directions was also very impressive.

another option is the Proboat Tornado series, 50A output forwards, 20A reverse, though they tend to come on line at a higher power output than mtroniks, BUT they are good
