Can anyone identify this boat?
Hey all: I recently purchased this boat on e-bay. I am new to the hobby and my interests lie mostly with fast electric boats.
But I wanted a boat just to cruise around when I don't feel like going fast.
I know that is is an older Chris Craft type boat and I love the way it looks.
I appears to be made out of fiberglass and is laminated to look like wood. Not a fine hand built real wooden boat by any means, but a nice boat nonetheless.
There are no identifying markings except the numbers on the speed controll: EPROM REV512535. I am assuming that REV means reverse.
The seller said that the speed control may not work, but I can handle that.
Does anyone have any information on this boat?
The steering whele is on the left, the pictures that I have seem of other boats like this it is on the right.
Also the interior is pretty sparse, I would like to add some gages etc. to try and make it look more scale.
Any ideas?
In case the motor does not work, any advice for a replacement would be helpful.
It is a 30" hull and will run on 6 cells.
I will probably have more questions mostly one making it look better but I appreciate any and all help.
Thanks
Joe
