interesting! I'll have to keep track of this thread and see how well it runs. I've always like hydrofoils and now see that there are some available. Could you please post some details about the boat, hull, foils, batteries, radio, etc?

Hi Bester008,

Nice looking boat! Was it built from a kit? I seem to remember a super comet kit many years ago. If it was a kit build, appears to have been a good job. What do you need to ready for the water? Hope you can share more pics later and let us know how it runs.

when i had mine i found the weight just right if you start putting to much stuff in the hull it might ie light and radar
make it top heavy and not preform when running just thought i would bring my point of veiw but as you say keep it as light
as possible or try it running then see about the rest hope this helps

Scale speed never gets back to anyone, not local, with prices.
I inquired about plans, which scale speed said they would not provide, and
then asked how much it would cost for a full model. Never heard back.

Several people have tried to get a tug from him and never heard back.

How much did you pay for your RHS200 Hydrofoils?

Sounds like they are custom built to order, and take a year... [&o]

Looks like a Pt-20 or an RHS 70.
That's a lot of money for a model....
Is it a large scale?

I would rather have plans for the boats, and build the model myself..[]
