Hello to all, i am trying to find a higgins boat the non military style, but the old speed boat style. i am either looking for some plans or a place to buy one or such. it is for a present any ideas would be great. i have no clue where to start i am into heli's so boats is something new. thanks

Grim, he said NON-military. Before and after PTs and LCVPs, Higgins built pleasure craft... cabin cruisers.

You might also try Univ. New Orleans, which has an online collection from Higgins Industries... no idea if the pleasure craft are there. This link from Google wasn't working for me just now, but might later?

thanks a bunch guys im still lookin. it looks simular too that wood boat that is advertising on the page by pro boat i think. has a really narrow v front.
