Default ProBoat PT 109 Leaks

Hello,

I've had this boat for over a year now and recently got it on the water only to find that it leaks badly from the rear. I can't see where the leak is coming from and am hoping someone with more experience would have some ideas.

Thanks,
Bill

Probably water coming up the shaft tubes when the boat is running.

Pull the propeller shafts and put a little grease(white lithium grease) into the
stuffing tubes, and the put the shafts back in(and out, to work the grease around) and
see if that helps.

ARMOR RABBIT IS RIGHT A GOOD FRIEND OF MINE HAD A LINDBERG PT 109 NOT AS GOOD QUALITY AS YOU BOAT WE TOOK IT TO THE GRAVEL PIT. OUT HERE IN OHIO THERE ARE A LOT OF PONDS MOST OF THEM ARE PRIVATELY OWNED AND DONT TAKE TO KINDLY FOR MODEL BOATERS. MOSTLY WE HAVE A LOT OF GRAVEL PITTS THESE PITS ARE MAN MADE AND GO AS DEEP AS 100 TO 200 FEET, WE TOOK HIS PT BOAT OUT FOR SEA TRIALS IT RAN QUITE WELL WHEN IT GOT OUT ABOUT 100 FEET OR SO THERE WAS NO RESPONCE TO RECIEVER THE BOAT TOOK ON WATER AND SUNK, THE STUFFING BOX,S AND RUDDER POST WERN,T SEALED CORRECTLY THIS MAYBE THE PROBLEM ON YOUR BOAT CHECK YOUR RUDDER POST AND GREASE WELL YOUR STUFFING TUBES AND YOU WILL BE GOOD TO GO AND TAKE ON THE POND.
