Robbe Dusseldorf instruction book

Good day all. I'm new to the forum. This is my first attempt. I am looking for the instruction book for the Robbe Dusseldorf. Mine was destroyed when the hot water heater sprung a leak in the basement.]i was hoping somebody might have saved theirs or could make me a copy of it. I will gladly pay all fees.
Umi, I love your fireboat. What did you use for a pump for the fire monitors?

I would try contacting Robbe, as they say they have the instructions Online, but the page doesn't seem readily accessable. http://at.robbe-online.net/rims_at.storefront/en

[edit] Perhaps you just have to Register on the Robbe Site to access the instruction library.

The pump(s) in my fire boat are custom pumps. I cast them up, and a friend helped with the seals.
We guesstimate that it pumps about 3 gallons a minute.[>:] And I have designed for three pumps.[>:] http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/attac...hmentid=151803
I have seen pretty good results from a boat in Seattle that uses a smaller RV water pump designed for sink and shower facilities. The trick is finding the small one.

When you are ready to launch let me know, If I have time I will sail support.[8D]

Thanks Umi. I tried the robbe web sight to no avail. I emailed them and if worse comes to worse I can order it from them for 5.75 euro plus postage. I see you run out at Tualatin Commons. I work just down the street from there at a metal company. If you ever need sheet metal or aluminum let me know. I noticed that you are quite adept at finding stuff on the web. Do you know if there is a wiring schematic for micro swithes running a forward/stop/reverse for a bow thruster? I'm building the Model Slipway Yorkshireman now.

Pac,

If all else fails let me know. I still have the instructions for mine and would probably be able to scan them for you and send them via e-mail. I built one a couple of years ago (in my gallery) and I will just have to dig them out. I do remember the instructions being somewhat vague but I suppose they are better than nothing at all.

Let me know if you still need the manual. I can email scanned pages or photocopy if you need from mine.

The pump that Robbe calls for in the Dusseldorf is a windshield washer for a Volvo. It will pump 75 GPH @ 12Volts. I use one for the fire monitors in mime and have a range of 30-35 ft. I use a secound pump for the deck spray (10) it is a 300 GPH @ 12 volts bilge pump.

RE: Robbe Dusseldorf instruction book

Thanks for the info JSGill. How did you mount the bilge pump to pick uo the water? Did you modify the housing, or have a through hull mount?. On my tugs I usually use a 12 v replacement windshield washer pump. The stream I get is usually only 10 ft at best.
