What powers that ship
 
Nice job . I am biulding a bouy tender of about the same size. what powers that ship and how does it go :D

she runs on two rs 380 motors direct drive with twin contra rotating screws and a 6 volt lead acid battery she runs very well stays at her water line ballasted weighs in at about 12 pounds took about 18 months to biuld her
thnks for you comments nice to get some feedback
pictures are a bit blurry because it was dark but ill try to get some more done

Thanks for the input.
I was thinking about twin 500's. do you know what rpm I should be looking for at the prop. I'm thinking a 3:1 reduction will get the prop to about 6000 rpm's Also looking at 3 blade 1 1/2 inch brass props.

What say you or anyone out there

it depends on what type of power your going to run
with that set up a 6 volt lead acid battery would probably be best itll give you longer than a nicad obvs thats if youve got the room to fit it

What do you guys make your hulls out of? Also, how much do the engines you are using cost?

some hulls are ab some pof and some are fiber glass motors vairy anything from £10.00 to £150.00
