she runs on two rs 380 motors direct drive with twin contra rotating screws and a 6 volt lead acid battery she runs very well stays at her water line ballasted weighs in at about 12 pounds took about 18 months to biuld her

Thanks for the input.
I was thinking about twin 500's. do you know what rpm I should be looking for at the prop. I'm thinking a 3:1 reduction will get the prop to about 6000 rpm's Also looking at 3 blade 1 1/2 inch brass props.
What say you or anyone out there

it depends on what type of power your going to run
with that set up a 6 volt lead acid battery would probably be best itll give you longer than a nicad obvs thats if youve got the room to fit it
