How did you get it shipped to you? Mail?

He told me so. Shipping through FEDEX or UPS is EXTRA expensive.

So, he shipped it to you then. I take it you haven't received it? You're in Spain too. I wouldn't ship to Spain via the postal service under ANY circumstances. Have you put a claim in? If so, it can take several months for the claim to be settled. I can't see how you can blame the supplier, you've run the parcel through two completely different postal services, just asking for trouble.

I guess the cheaper postal system, rather than UPS or Fedex, was a false economy eh! Good luck with the claims!

Hey JC, why not post a final recap here instead of letting it hang in the wind?

For those interested in RPM Tech's excellent line of product, here's the same updated thread over at RCGroups:

http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1339462

Here's RPM's website & blog:

BTW, I happen to live in China & don't have any problem in 1) receiving product from Rick or 2) staying in contact with him.

Hi Herrmill. Yes, this matter has been thoroughly discussed in this and other forums. Rick has told me that he's now very busy with 1/72 FOXTROT (Mr. Merriman is making fittings for it) and that he'll prepare and send the KILO  as soon as possible. So, as arranged with him,  I'm waiting for his news.
Merry Christmas for you and all others in the forum.
J.C.

Yes, there's about a dozen of us who are all excited about the coming Foxtrot.

I know several who have Rick's Kilo & even though the wait can be tiresome at times, it will certainly be worth it. ;-)

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to you as well, Juan Carlos!
