Well I was going to put off Walmart till tomorrow,,,,,, BUT I guess I am going tonight... I really want to find a Radio Shack Submarine. I am almost done with my PVC sub got the hull all done now got to paint it. Will send pics ASAP. I have now three Megatechs three Wally subs and now I want a Graupner shark,, and a Radio shack sub. Oh I forgot my Titanic Redhorse that was sold as a Megatech on Ebay, sank the first four minutes into her maiden voyage!!!!! but I may use it if I ever build a model research ship as a static model. PS I love that seawolf paintjob. These wally subs are really cool. Tom

I'm not sure if he really wants one of those, they are know for being leakers!
I went through 3 of those beast before I could find out why they would just quit working.
the Answer was the front seal needs more greese..so when you buy it..more greese man!
Also they tend to be rearend heavy so you need to add weight to the front of the boat.
Outside of that a good diver and can turn very quickly..

55mm is equal to about 2.3 inches
25mm=1 inch
50mm=2 inches
so trust me, it's tiny.
2 3/8 inches is the size..

Hey lol I got this tiny sub at walmart and it ranges farther than my walmart dallas sub! Actually we have two so me and my son can run them together. It went all the way to the bottom of the four foot pool with no problem, my dallas sub starts to loose signal at the bottom but im doing some mods to it. Amazing how this small sub does as well or better because it is tiny, it has lights too so we will try them tonight.

I've been trying to locate this particular mini-sub for months.
Any ideas aside from Wal-mart where I could get myself one of these?

That is the 1 1/2 incher I was talking about. It turns out to be 2 inches. I don't own one so it was a best guess on the length.
I didn't know it performs well. Maybe I'll get one too but I'm not in a hurry. They are abundant back here and if my memory is correct, costs about 14 Dollars converted.

This may sound dumb, but does anyone have any video of one of these in action...? We've been concidering getting a fairly big fish tank for the kids. How do these subs operate...? Are they like the old baking soda set-up...? I'm completely new to this part of R/C...
hehehe...
How big of a fish tank would you really need...? I'm really curious to see if the kids would continue to play with it, or would it be a worn out item (in the eyes of the kids) in a week...?
Thanks guys for your time...

I don't remember if I've seen any video here regarding this sub.
But I've seen a vidcap of its larger cousin somewhere.
And its official. I checked WalMArt back here and it sucks. Its nothing but a supermarket. Not even a single RC!!!

When Couch-pilot said that the mini-subs are $7.00... I think it's in Cdn$. So that puts them at $ 5.00 USD.
The law of "Supply & Demand" in retail over there goes something like this: They Supply the demand, and they demand the price that they want for the supply!
