Default Silverlit Mini Sub

Hi all,

Just got a sub today on ebay for a bargain £1.99. I'm not overly optimistic about its performance, but being in the UK Wallmart subs are out, and this seemed like it had potential. Its a Silverlit Sub-Sonic XP, and does look pretty well put together. Its got full 3d control and the ability to static dive in a similar way to the Walmart Subs (IE, a shrouded vertical prop). I'll be getting some batteries at lunchtime and testing it, and I'll make any improvements that I can over the next few weeks and post them here. Obviously I'll also get some pics up tonight. It does seem well put together though, which is nice. Its biggest limitation I think will be the fact it has built in batteries and a charging station, though I shall be investigating ways around that too

Default RE: Silverlit Mini Sub

Hi,

Well, when you look at it, the Walmart subs and these subs are not really "static" divers, more like dynamic diving in a vertical way. I've seen these subs at the my local Radio Shack, interested to hear about the mods, if possible...
