Default Pool Creepymobile sub.

Well, I'm thinking since summer is coming up and I have a pool I need to make a pool sub with a camera.

I was thinking about just picking up a cheapy sub off ebay or something and one of those little tiny pen cams or something. Anyone have any expiriance with this?

How's the inside of these subs? Are they pretty packed and wieght sensitive?

Hi,

I won't suggest those ebay subs, mostly they're jusy cheapie mini-subs that don't really last long after a few runs. I have one of those subs, O-ring seal is tight and cracked the rear plastic cap after only two or three runs... If you're trying to fit a camera inside one of those things, well, good luck.

My suggestion is to look for those ROV forums or buy a decent sub kit, plently of rooms there to fit all your electronics. Here's a link about the build up of a waterproof underwater housing for your camera:

Thanks alot for the info man.

I'll do some snooping around. I just opened up my pool and I want a cool project for it.

I want a wireless cam, LED lights that I can turn on and off and anything else I can think of. Oh and It's gotta be pool camo colored. lol If I make it I'll throw some pics up here.
