Anything is possible, the fact that your asking suggests that you have never built/operated a submarine nor flown a RC helicopter. This being the case, I suspect that this project may be too much for you. Save your money.

You can always build a Type IXc that includes an FA-330 Bachstelze (Wagtail) gyro-kite that German U-boat crews used for observation purpose. Model is a highly detailed ABS vacuform with plenty of resin & metal parts suitable for display or RC conversion. Not sure if you could get up enough speed to actually tow a gyro coptor, but it would look great for a display when you aren't on the water. Kit is from Ota Gerza: http://www.rcsubs.wz.cz/en_index.php?sid=modely

if you got a LARGE bit of drain pipe and made it lighter, and then made a mechanism that opens the front part up and fly one of [link=http://www.firebox.com/index.html?dir=firebox&action=product&pid=1420&src _t=cat&src_id=radiocontrol]THESE[/link] out it could be very much possible

Now thats the kind of encouragement we need , Good job bro !! Anything is possible with a little experimenting.

Dont let the in-ability of others discourage you bro.
