1. Hi all, Nice forum, and cool site.
I am wondering what a good sub, for me is, I have a 12ft deep pool, bout 17 ft long.
rather not go over 150$.
Also, I have thought of the idea of a torpedo, using a small airgun co2 tank, and using like a gun hammer style method, to open the end, and release the air.
What do you guys think? Thanks.

If you search the Wal-Mart clearance section, you might find a Shark or Gator for $20. They've passed the peak of their season, so your Wal-Mart might be still clearing them out. My wife once found a Wally sub on clearance as late as December--but that was after searching the clearance section of all our city Wal-Marts, and finding it at the last one.
As you might expect for $20, they look like toys.
