32nd Parallel subs

My Feedback: (1)
I know 32nd Parallel as a model company is no longer. I once had a very early example of their type VIIc build either by or for 32nd Parallel themslves. It had a multi piece aluminum deck, functional schnorkel and functional ballast tanks. I ran it for quite a few years at the SFMYC club's Spreckels lake in Golden Gate Park until I sold it in the early 1990s to a chap as I recall on the east coast. I also had a Gato Class hull
( 9 feet 9 " !!) but I never built it and sold it about the same time. Neither my type VII OR the Gato hull had ever been cut; they had been brought up from the factory directly at one point. From time to time I wonder what became of these models but I have no strong regrets for selling them as it was the right thing to do at the time. The club had changed and I lost interest in boats although lately interest has stirred a bit...
If I ever come across a decent 32nd p type VIIc I may be tempted....
What bacame of 32nd Parallel themselves? Why did they stop production; they had quite an interesting product line.
Any input?
Thanks,

Jerry,
If you haven't already, check out Caswell's new offering [link=http://www.caswellplating.com/models/]Caswell Models[/link]
Mike Caswell & Dave Merriman teamed up to market both static sub kits along with Dave's excellent line of D&E Miniature's Sub Driver WTCs, conversion kits & parts. Mike will be offering the revamped OTW line & has both the Seahund & X-Craft in stock. He'll have a full line of British & German subs to come that will offer a nice option to what is currently available on the market.
I'm getting their Gato kit for my Revell conversion & will probaby opt for one of the larger OTW kits later next year. Now that Lindberg announced their new 1/72 IJN series, I would presume they'll have some conversions coming for that as well.
