Walmart sub batteries

Many have posted to use 1.2 volt rechargable Nimh. A plain old duracell AA is 1.5 volt. Why would I want to to lower the voltage?

RE: Walmart sub batteries

Because the 2500mah, 1.2volt has enough battery life to be able to consistently go foward, turn and dive at the same time by pushing more than one button (Seawolf and Connecticut). The higher voltage MAY improve your range however....Voltage does increase range but whether that small amount is significant is unknown.

hi

even though the alklai batteries are higher voltage they are not able to deliver the power as well or as fast as the larger batteries, if you get my meaning
