Default Hetzer

Does any one remember the threads about the scratch built Hetzers. I really want to build one of these little hell raisers but cant seem to find thethread. I was hoping that someone had made measured templates of the armor and hull assemblies. Ialso needthe diameter;s of the road wheels and idler wheels. i was thinking of using metal sew on buttons the correct size as wheels, bore them out for a bearing and BAM , Roadwheel. A nice little set of boxes for a stug or Jagpanther and should be ready to go. tried the search, nothing cam up. I know one of us made a Hetzer, i just need the Measured armor and angles. Thanks for the help guy;s.

You should have your search engine checked, I searched for Hetzer and got a least 12 pages where people had used Hetzer and some specifically on Hetzer road wheels. Anyway here are a couple of the links. http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_95..._1/key_/tm.htmand http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_97...tm.htm#9792073hope this helps be sure and post some pics.

Panther G,
Sorry did mean to be a smart Axx, you are right though, apparentlytheworlds best kept secret is the diameter of those road wheels, even in my Jentz book they only say they were bigger than the 38t wheels not how much or theactual dimensions. PM Moonshadow It looks like he has drawings that he went by I see them in some of the picture in his post here is the link.http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_91..._1/key_/tm.htm
I don't know if you saw the link inMoonshadows posthttp://www.vmmv.org/tanktk/hetzer/hetzer.htmgood photos of the wheels and other details.

<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial; ">Panther, let me know if this helps. You can use the measuring stick of 1 meter at the top right to guestimate the diameter and convert the units to scale imperial system, not sure how accurate you would come.</span>
