They could be, this guy seems to have a couple of different e-bay sites so a different vender name is very possible. the first time I ordered from them it was from one name. When I reordered it came from a company with a different name altogether. This one I believe is the main site, as the packs come labeled with this name on the shipping label.

Shen, I also use the Tenergy smart charger and it seems to do very well, but I do notice the batteries get pretty warm. Had a Piranah but it was such a complicated thing and required so many commands, I got tired of messing with it. I use mostly 2000 and a couple 3000 batteries as I don't do that much running, so can't really afford to sink a hundred in a charger. Lots of nice info on this thread. Thanks for the tips guys.
Hi yea the piranha charger was harder to set up and use but it was a much better charger if you did learn how to use it correctly. you don't need to spend $100.00 the onyx 230 is always in towers scratch and dent section foe under 50 to 60 bucks and it is perfect for the NIMH batteries all the adjustments you need and 10 battery memory also so once you have a battery set in the memory you can load it and start charging.

If you are not into it as much then most likely it's not worth buying a good charger specially if using the stock batteries.

I have all types of RC 's I need many chargers i have 3 right now but went through probably 20 over the years.
I have a duratrax ICE

Super brain 922 palm charger

and a 4 port charger from Hobby king quatro 4 same as the imax and hi tech one they have out now.

Recently sold my Hyperion I net charger that was very nice also.

Palm charger is up stairs for charging while my other chargers are in the basement in my charging station .

I LOVE CHARGERS!!

Cool let me know how it goes...
Also you can set the MAH capacity at 10% more than the batteries capacity example 4600 X 10% += 460 + 4600 = 5060mah setting for the 4600 packs.
Also it may have a safty timer you can set it or turn it off also.
Read the instructions on how to set this and batteries into the memory.

The first 1 charged to @3900mah and was warm, set up 10% for next battery charged to @4400 and warm.

On a strange note my cannon LED flickers now, started an hour ago.
I haven't found any obvious problems yet, still looking.

These really arent led's they are like a florescent bulb, sort of. They are filled with a gas and the very high voltage basically ignites. Other than a loose connection, i would say that it may be going bad. I had one fail on my Panther G and it wasnt very old. Oh, you have the DBC system correct? They are a LED but very high current type. Same thing possibly a bad connection at the led itself. You may need to cut open the shrink tube at the LED and verify the connections. There and at the board. may have a pin not making good contact.

Yea like Panther said... but look at the wires in the turret they may have got snagged on something and could be messed up.
You may just want to try a new LED if you can't find anything... maybe to much voltage was getting to the LED and it now is burning out... try a higher voltage rated LED or maybe a different resistor to lower the output voltage more.
