RE: Pin-ups?
That reminds me of seeing Tom Arnold doing stand up on TV. He goes "I'm feeling great, I just lost three hundred pounds. On another note, I just got divorced!"

You have a talent for that. This is the first modeling detail I've seen that I don't think I can do.
Is it all free hand or do you have some other secret method? Do you paint from a picture or is she only in your mind? I may have to buy an American tank just so I can try it out myself.

RE: Pin-ups?
Hi all,
Glad you like the girls!
They are all done freehand. I find a pin-up pic on the web (type "nose art" into google images) and base them on that. I modified "DD" by reversing the pic and bending her leg slightly to fit the space, (and didn't bother with a skirt LOL).
Frank.

RE: Pin-ups?
There is an artist named Andrew Bawidamann who makes pin-up stickers. Here is his website:

I bought several of his WW2 stickers, (he has both American and German ones), and plan to use them to decorate the outside of transport cases for tanks. I haven't gotten around to building them yet, but I often like to admire the decorations that are eventually going to go on them.

You know, Frank; you seem to have a talent for painting these things that most of us can never hope to duplicate. Maybe you should consider painting some onto decal paper and selling them to us lesser-talented folks. It could even go towards funding some more tanks for you!
